..ruled to be at fault...do you think you would ever go back to that same park?

Probably eventually. I wouldn't go skipping right in like "Hey I'm Johnny Knoxville and today I'm gonna go on that ride that that dude fell out of last week!" But after so long without an incident I'd say fuck it because if you refuse to do anything that anyone has ever died doing, the list of things you can ever do again is pretty fucking small.

Probably depends on what park and why they were ruled to be at fault. If it was like a training or general safety issue (situations where the staff were not following proper safety instructions, etc.), then maybe an incident like that that would get them to clean up their act and get things together. On the other hand I've read stories about amusement park accidents where the fault lied with neglect in ride maintenance, or where the ride design was simply poor and unsafe from the start. Those feel to me like deeper problems with how the park is run that aren't likely to be fixed easily.

Edit: For example, any park that would see no problems with opening a ride like this I'd probably want to stay far, far away from: https://youtu.be/ulIcekOTOqg

It's sad but such incidents do occur on occasion, especially with older rides. It is not something fully preventable. So long as the park acted responsibly and closed the ride - until all faulty parts of equipment can be fully replaced, or permanently if that cannot be achieved properly - I would be fine with going to said park, though not on that ride for quite some time without incident.

If the park just reopened the ride after two weeks like nothing happened, there'd be public outcry, and I wouldn't return until the park was under new management, if it even survived the controversy. Chances are, though, people would just forget when the park opened the next year.

Yeah.
I think it happened actually. Don't know if the park was found at fault though. It was on a chair lift ride, I definitely rode that ride since then.

Just looked it up, they didn't die. It was a mentally disabled man who rode alone and fell out of the chair lift. There was nothing wrong with the ride itself.

People have died at Disneyland and someone literally fell(Well, they jumped) out of a ride at Knotts and I've most definitely been back to both of those parks.

Didn't two people recently die at Petco Park in a case that's still being investigated?

Not an amusement park, but...
