And where are the naysayers and negatives. I get people having a bad day, but at times it gets to the point where I see CE as net negative bad energy and influence. I've posted music and things and seen it relentlessly shit on for no reason other than the context of posting; I don't need white washing or candying up, just honesty, but it can get vicious here sometimes.

I like to be positive. If people are always making things toxic then tag or block them. It's usually the same few people.

In particular it was some raw, unpolished stuff I posted. I was in my feels because I thought me and my gf were about to break up. I quit my job to do music full time, and succeeded at that goal, but that as a career isn't something that necessarily goes anywhere.

I love it when people are passionate about creative things and share them.

I work on some videos and some game jams, also I wrote a Spec script for the Orville

But I know how emotional creative stuff is all the more valuable. Only my script really "goes there".

I suppose I was a lurker in the beginning. I dont remember why I made the account, but the earliest board I remember being active on was the Xenoblade board.

I didnt care much for social boards because its daunting when everybody seems to know everybody, but PotD is small enough that its somewhat easy to get used to.

CE took me a while to get into because of the higher userbase and faster pace.

Its weird, really, that PotD is the smaller board when its linked on the front page.

Random Insanity for me. Came here because of how slow it got on most of the site :/

I'd love to hear your stuff. My topic was a stab-show because it was about doubts with my relationship, and I like the anonymity a place like this could theoretically bring. Leaving the site is more regards to the negative stuff, for no reason... for example @Woozul is here and I do like them a fair bit even if we've butted heads recently(probably because they're an alt and that isn't an obvious thing). That's cool, I'd actually trust their opinion on more things because we don't agree on specifics, if that makes sense; they're real.

I think the topic is having its intended effect, a lot of good ones are coming out of the wood works. I like to chat with people and hear about their lives, and CE is ALWAYS going in terms of activity. Sometimes I want the spontaneous view

I'll send you some music soon. I have been meaning to work on it more lately. I mostly use guitar pro. I actually deleted my old SoundCloud though, it only had a few full tracks in any case.

I still don't fully understand what the root of the negative experience is... Idk. I know there are people that are easy to see as bad apples but I hope we all mostly ended up here for the same reasons... maybe not hope. Idk what you think on that
