We gonna have an after work thingy soon, snd if convo goes there (like them talking to me and relationships or assuming Ill get a girl whatever), ill just correct them or casually mention Im in a relationship with a man.

Tho I prob wont mention his age yet.

I just dont want to make a thing of it but I also wanna feel included in normal conversation, most my coworkers are women and they talk about their men plenty. Also want them to know me more, I mean there is a reason why no one ever asks me any of those questions anymore, hiding everyday things is weird and makes me feel a bit on the outside.

Aren't you in Sweden? Is this a big deal there? I kind of assumed things were pretty progressive there.

How would you respond if they just said "yeah we know" or something to that effect?

That's good for you. I hope I can do the same (I'm also gay and into much older men) but I'm too afraid of it getting around and me getting fired, etc. It just feels freeing to live authentically, though.

Yeah, but there are still hate, I know of 2 small towns nearby here where nazis harrass openly gay people, last year a lesbian woman was hit on her head with with a bottle in front of her house after they messed up her car. Another lesbian couple who runs a supermarket has been harrassed several times.

But the haters are a minority. Either way its still mostly my own fears and stuff, I only accepted and stopped repressing my sexuality like 8 years ago.

Im lucky that I dont have to worry about things like getting fired as it would be illegal here to do for that reason. That must suck so bad, its sad that it happens, hope things work out for you.
