lmao I guess I was lucky to have a dad that was supportive enough to pay my expenses up until I had a decent job in my early 20s
My parents barely raised me at all though tbh

Born into an upper-middle class family (that became just upper class as my childhood went on) with two college-educated parents who ensured my needs were met. They substantially subsidized my college tuition so I graduated without debt.

Basically I am privileged as fuck and even a brief glance at my life compared to the average person makes that abundantly clear so I can't help but get annoyed at people who deny the concept of privilege because it isn't even a hard to observe phenomenon.

Born into a lower-middle class white family in midwestern USA. Both parents love and respect each other and are still married (39th anniversary coming this year) and were always supportive of my and my siblings' goals.

I'd say I got pretty lucky.

It's a mix bag. They were refugees without much money or education so adjusting to American society and standards were tough. However, both my parents are hard workers with good spending habits, and I'm grateful they passed that on to me. I'm also very lucky that they eventually managed to get a home for us in a good zip code. The public school system I was in had amazing teachers.
