26 y/o Detroit Red Wings Forward with Scary Teeth, Tyler Bertuzzi has been BANNED from coming into Canada because he REFUSED the experimental government vaccine...and in an ironic twist, he's FROM Canada!!

Steve Yzerman, the team manager said he won't be crossing the canadian border to play any games in the upcoming NHL season as they are following COVID-19 protocols in order to cross the border for games.

All of the team members and staff have been vaccinated EXCEPT for him..

Current restrictions require a 14 day quarantine for unvaccinated players coming to Canada but that would obviously not work with the busy NHL schedule

He said it was his decision and he is not in a position to force anyone said "I am personally vaccinated, my family is vaccinated and i'll leave it at that"

He will be hit financially by not being vaccinated however for missing Canada based games as under current rules he would not be paid for them amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars

He signed a 2 year 9.5 million dollar contract during the off season and was limited to only 9 games with the Red Wings due to injury and finished with 5 goals and 7 points and was considered one of the physical players of the team

Bertuzzi refused to answer anymore questions to the media other than it was his choice

Banned? No. Subjected to the restrictions that reduce the risk of bringing new infections in, such as mandatory quarantine periods? Yes. So basically what's happening now.
