I had a big cavity in the tooth they took out and she said if I didn't do it that eventually the cavity would spread to the 2nd molar next to it and I'd lose both teeth in the end. My wisdom tooth was completely sideways so they couldn't pull it- they had to saw it out in pieces, which sounds way worse than it actually was. I had 3 major cavities in my wisdom teeth that got filled years ago.
