it's more like 50% that and the other half is a massive mix of brainwashed young urban white people, self-hating "w-we're white too!" latinos virtue-signaling as conservative, military brats who adopted their parents politics regardless of their own ethnicity or worldliness, black people who don't trust the government as a rule, white LGBTs who are basically only liberal on LGBT issues, asians who feel threatened that covid has led to anti-asian sentiment so they feel the need to downplay it, etc

it goes on and on and on, the amount of brown faces is staggering and the strawman of these people being an aging rural white Other is short-sighted imo

It'd be more correct to call them political influencers or activists rather than commentators. Commentators talk about the empiricism in politics, like the number of constitutents voting, political climate, political culture etc.
