During the actual day of. As an east coaster at the time, school was dismissed early during 2nd period. But for west coast time, school probably hadn't even started yet.

Did you still go to school that day, or was school abruptly cancelled?

I actually graduated that summer. So I wasn't impacted in that aspect. I just stayed home all day watching CNN

But yea, the attack happened like before 6 am west coast time I think. I was asleep when it started. I woke up and my mom had the tv on already. I might have seen the 2nd tower fall live. I can't remember

I remember waking up at 6am and seeing it on the news. We still went to school. I remember watching the news in class and then the teacher had us sit in a circle and talk about it. Eventually the school decided to send the kids home around 10-11 am.

West Coast here, my memory is slightly hazy but I'm pretty sure the whole event had played out by the time I arrived at school. I remember there being an intercom announcement about it by the principal, but otherwise the school day went on as usual.

I was inside NYC and still had to finish the entire day and didn't get a single day off.

I remember NPR, pulling back the current for a second and comment on an inside joke that they would always get the story right for Hawaii.

They qualified it by saying if there is w/e hiccup for a piece they were able to fix it by airtime west coast.

I still had to go to school. think it happened in my English core class, but most memorable was in last period math.

maybe it came to me way late with how my schedule was set up or something. i remember hearing about it coming off second.
