I don't remember him running a contest or even being that prominent, just a regular who mostly posted about contests and VGM. Hmmm. I went on the Board8 wiki (what I should've done in the first place) and lines up with that too, it didn't mention anything either, other than his being the original Oracle winner and prominent participant? If the trend of oracle winner names going in people's signatures existed back then, that probably would've ingrained it through sheer repetition. Otherwise just another random factoid retained from 15+ years ago...
