Been playing the OG version on my Phone (had to replay it since I lost my old save files) and I'm still on Taris early in the game...

Should I continue playing it or wait for the Remake?

I said it in another topic but I imagine this remake will be a different genre, I'd be floored if a CRPG hit mainstream again.

Also why would you play the phone version of Kotor.

Quit the version you're playing now and buy it for like 5$ on PC. Then do the same for the 2nd game and use the restored content mod.

Pretty much this. The original game is still great. Updating graphics doesn't make a game better, I would hope most people know this by now.

It seems like they'd try and totally reinvent the game too like FF7 Remake. That'll have very mixed results, especially if they change and rewrite all the dialog which made KOTOR so amazing before.

Based on current trends, I'd assume they'd keep the RPG elements but switch from a active time turn-based system to a more general hack-and-slash. Sort of closer to The Force Unleashed or Fallen Order.

A full rework would take a lot of time/effort/work though, and I wouldn't be surprised if they just re-release as-is with slightly better graphics just to try and cash in on a quick buck.

• Fallen Order has gotten very good reviews (haven't played it yet)
• The Mandalorian is a Good TV Series

Why? I play enuff games on my PC already, so when I'm Mobile or away from it, I still can play it...and for the record, I have KOTORII on Steam, just waiting to finish the 1st so I won't be spoiled by anything

If you want to play it on the phone I say go for it, and I typically hate playing games on phones. If it's just a straight port maybe with some touch specific controls, I don't see how playing it on the phone would be that bad. The game is pausable to issue commands, like in battles, so it's not like it even needs twitchy reflexes. The only thing that might really suffer is the audio with phone speakers, but you can always use other speakers or headphones.
