I got the PSP one and well its a little goofy. I dont like the sprites, whats everyone think of the various versions?

The PSP one streamlines stuff so you can finish it faster. It also has the prologue at the beginning. It's really down to how much you enjoyed wandering around dungeons versus how much you like or dislike the new art.

The PSX has a good level of difficulty that I didn't find in the PSP version. Avoid the GBA one at all costs.

Oh yeah the GBA one, forget that. Also the good Saturn version needs that MPEG encoder add on thing which I don't think the US ever got. The original Saturn version has really low quality FMVs.

Don't play the English version of the PS1 version.

The PSX vision seems to be the consensus among Lunar fans. I remember getting extremely ass-blasted on YouTube because people were being snobby douchebags and saying that they felt sorry for people who played the PSP version and how they weren't real fans and shit. Like when the remake localisers got the original VA for the girl for the singing scene on the boat, people were calling her like an old hag and saying she sounded like an RnB singer because her voice had lowered a bit with age. Like they did something nice for the hardcore fanbase, and they shat all over it and called anyone who played the PSP version first a fake fan.

So like consider the PSX version, since the fanbase is that passionate about it, but I played the PSP one and it was fine. It did get tedious though, so maybe it is for the best to go with the PSX version.

We can all agree that the GBA version is the worst, though.
