...this actually looks awesome. The main thing I hate about smartphones is the fact the screen is exposed constantly. I've pined for the days of flip phones for a long time.

The folding screen is cool, but it comes at a high cost. Not just in costing more, which it does, but also in feature loss/non-upgrade. Things you expect to get better with every generation of new phones just don't. Worse, the battery life is simply abysmal (maybe 2/3 of whatever is in your pocket right now, if not less) and it charges much slower. Also, no matter what any photos or videos or promises from Samsung may make you think, that screen doesn't fold seamlessly at all. I'm sure it's a cool little toy that some people will enjoy, but it is a step backwards in practical usability.

I'm waiting and looking forward to them perfecting the new generation of flip phones. It'll probably be a few more years before I take a chance with one.

I nearly got one a few months back when I was shopping for one but figured it was too soon. I'll give them a couple of years to figure it out

Give it a couple years and this line might actually have some good features. The loss of the headphone jack and expandable storage, however, is a problem. As far as I'm concerned, phones have regressed with features in general. Remember when we could remove and replace batteries?
