Yes No Are you surprised the sequel stinks? - Results (11 votes) Yes 18.18% (2 votes) 2 No 81.82% (9 votes) 9 Critics were left divided on Halloween Kills when it debut at the Venice Film Festival with it's current 46% rating on Rottentomatoes and 44% on Metacritic with reviewers stating the movie has some okay moments but David Gordon Greene's follow up fails to deliver anything good in this much anticipated sequel.. The movie has a high body count with a straddled story and much like Halloween 2 in the 80's, fails to capture the brilliance of the 1st movie.
