Look at whats happening in Afghanistan. Other countries problems (included our own) are much more deeply rooted than what you can just throw money at & everything all goes away. A lot of times, it isnt even money, as you are pointing out, many of the powerful people out there are unfortunately bad, and keep people actually poor. So what do you want to do then? Even in a lot of places where wealth is balanced and theres abundance, we have other problems.

If history has taught us anything, its that the richer the people get..... the more they abuse their power, eh? Well.
The same goes for the common man! The more money you give them. The more they get depraved. People need a system governing their actions. We are born a blank slate basically so its up to us to create a healthy ecosystem, so to speak.

Rich people? Abusive, right?
Poor people? Lazy, no?

We live in a Democratic Republic. People need to understand this and free themselves from the babys rails myths & lies propaganda of the Red/blue state. The hivemind. The duality of colors. All that crap. Voting in party. Riggable elections, one way or the other, no matter how you spin it. A real dedicated movement would be easy to spark BECAUSE people are complacent. But nobody does it. Because people arent just complacent. People dont care. People have their own special problems to deal with. Its a lot to handle. Its complex. But if you want change..... you need to mean it. Mean it! I mean, really MEAN it! Do you mean it? People can make amazing things happen in this country and even countries and times and places where they didnt have such power to be vocal.

You know what I think.

I think they should tell us! Lower the veil a little. Explain WHY sometimes they have to break the rules. Apologize. Start granting civilians a little more clearance, open up shop. Sell us some of your cool government shit. Cut out the middle man. Wed be proud of you. Explain why you cant explain any more. Some secrets can never be said. They need to leave some wiggle room too. People would understand.

Its THE big deal. We all know it. The magnitude. In fact, we freely admit it. But they never address it. Never officially officially. Not really. Only offhandedly and usually years (decades) after the fact. Juvenile! Petty shit like that is why people think youre the bad guy. Its like.... gangster stuff 101. Youre not a very good gangster if everybody knows youre a gangster lol!

The problem is it always feels like a one way street. I spend money on their shit but to them that's the end of any interaction when I typically want them to produce better or do better. They like loyalty (because you keep spending money with them) but don't pay it back well (because that means THEY have to spend money, which is apparently not as okay as when I do).
