Animation has rules it must follow to create convincing or stylistic movement, and scaling it to 60fps completely obliterates the art. Upscaling actual footage works better, but it still falls under uncanny valley imo, as the AI will attempt to approximate frames and usually just blurs things together, making the new animation feel soupy instead of smooth, and the new resolution makes everything feel too smooth. --- Others don't get to dictate what's normal and what isn't.
