I think there's a food you can get that resists heat, if you don't want to get armour to do it. If memory serves, though, the shield surfing minigame on the mountain is the fastest way to make Rupees. It has, however, been quite a while, so I could be misremembering.

You can abuse amiibos, I guess. I usually cook things and then sell them; you can get a surprising amount of cash just cooking up meat and then selling that, and meat is easy enough to farm, especially if you have the amiibos that drop it. It helps that meat is pretty useless since ingredients like durians and truffles and radishes, etc.

5 Enduring Carrots = 420 rupees (Near fairy fountains, Satori Mountain)
5 Raw Gourmet Meat = 510 rupees (all over but Tabantha is the best place for this)
5 Raw Prime Meat = 210 rupees
You can also sell dragon parts (horn is best at 300 rupees) or excess gems/guardian parts.

I remember finding and selling luminous stones and other gems as being the easiest way.

Besides exploiting the cooking system, if you've been killing lots of mobs you can sell their parts in bulk, selling gems from exploration is also great but you can make more rupees from selling them in death mountain for reasons you'll find out later.

If you have been hoarding luminous stones then you can convert them to diamonds later on.

The bowling minigame is easily the most reliable and consistent method if you've mastered getting strikes/spares. Cooking, selling gems, and the like can give you short bursts of cash but require you to have materials with the best deals coming from knowing the proper merchants to sell too.

IMO, the 'best' course of action is to get the warm doublet and/or a fire weapon (flame blade works just fine), sell what you can to afford the snowquill head/pants, and then start exploiting the bowling game.

When I say shield surfing, I apparently mean bowling. Totally the same thing, right?

Yeah. I smashed a bunch of talos enemies and sold the remains of their body to get money And also the guardians across from Target town (if you get extra pieces, of course)

Definitely the snow bowling. Didn't take that long to get the rupees I needed for all the great fairies.

I've avoided the guardians at this point. Haven't killed one yet.

If you have been hoarding luminous stones there's a way to trade them for diamonds as well.

Nah, you get more money selling Luminous Stones directly rather than trading them in for diamonds.

iirc, it takes 10 luminous stones to get 1 diamond. Diamond is worth 500 rupees, the stones are worth 70 each. You lose 200 rupees if you convert them into diamonds.

Of course, this is only AFTER you first do the quest to unlock the ability to trade them.

Do the quest first though since you get TWO diamonds as an initial reward for 10 stones.

I believe the quest unlocks after you beat the Zora divine beast.

If you're feeling ballsy, shield bashing their lasers back at them is a tremendously satisfying way to kill them without needing particularly advanced gear (though it'll wear out your shields pretty quickly), and it's not as hard as you might think to get the timing right.

Honestly the feeling of progression in BotW is outstanding. I remember avoiding Guardians and Lynels as much as possible early on. But later in the game when you've gained stronger weapons, better armour, and most of all you've mastered the battle mechanics, those enemies become a breeze.

There isn't another Zelda game that comes close to being as rewarding in terms of progression as BotW.

You might be able to by now... If you are worried, you can try to take on the ones that can't move, or are already injured to get some parts from them... And then you can get some gear made from their parts to help take them don't faster... Also. a faster way to take them down it to hit their eye... With a regular arrow, it's just stuns them, allowing for more hits. With the Ancient Arrow, it's a one-hit kill if in the eye...

This is true, as well...
