IShall_Run_Amok 09/01/21 11:05:48 PM #7:	The upcoming 4k Blu-ray of Citizen Kane doesn't include the documentary The Battle Over Citizen Kane, but I think that's because the documentary received quite a bit of backlash from scholars, poor and accuracies and just being kind of ridiculous. The upcoming 4k Blu-ray of Citizen Kane does, however, contain enough new and old special features that it needs two extra Blu-rays, in addition to the 4K Blu-ray and a regular Blu-ray for the film - those two discs could be just as much material as the appendices for any individual Lord of the Rings film. There's also a new audio commentary, while the older ones are still present (they'd have to be fucking dumb to not include Roger Ebert's old commentary, after all). Both Citizen Kane and The Lord of the Rings films are owned by Warner Brothers, but the difference is that Citizen Kane was license out to a small distributor, while Warner Brothers handled the Lord of the Rings films themselves.
