Yes. I was interviewing for a job there but couldnt work out a salary to make it worth it. Going from a no tax state where I can park a car in my driveway to NYC would be brutal on the life style without a giant raise.

I wouldn't mind having a second place in NYC, but only if I was loaded.

Having said that I can get there in a few hours by train...and it happens to be a very nice train ride.

I'd consider it. For the right price, like enough to live in a good spacious place as well as a sizeable amount to save as well as a surcharge for living in a city since it's not my vibe. If that was offered to me, then sure.

I wouldn't even visit New York City.

With the Internet explosion in the recent past decades, New York City hasn't been relevant as it once was back in the 80's or 90's.

Even visiting it seems like a hassle. Not to mention the slap-on-the-wrist punishments that thieves get, the constant hate-crimes against the aging asian demographic, and the thought of relying on public transportation is already a no-go.

But I guarantee you, you can find legit Mexican food down there if you looked around.

No, fuck the city life. I hate people as it is, having to deal with traffic every day and relying on other modes of transportation since having your own car in NYC is pretty much unheard of would make my blood boil.

Now, if relocating came with having my own helicopter to get around with expenses paid for? .... I'd consider it.

Yes, for sure. Although I know I'd probably become sick of city life quickly, I'd still like to at least see what it's like.
