hockey7318 08/30/21 12:09:43 PM #1:	He was driving home with my mom from our family cottage in the thumb of Michigan when he started feeling light headed. Pulled over quickly and they called an ambulance. He's already got a penchant for having his heart rhythm going into a-fib so he had something installed in his chest a few years ago that records events. Once the hospital got their hands on that data it turned out they were right to play it safe because his heart completely stopped for 9 seconds. Thank god nothing worse happened, but this just solidifies how lucky I feel that he got to meet all of his grand children after he had a pretty big heart attack 14 years ago. <cite>hockey7318 posted [p:957576716] in My dad's h... The idea I might become dependent on someone else when I get old kind of terrifies me. Also, on topic, glad to hear he's at least okay. My dad had afib problems earlier last year.
