Seems like whenever I meet people who always talk about how "alpha" they are trying to be and how they have an "alpha mindset" they are never successful?

I thought they were alpha? I thought they were top dog? I thought they take cold showers?

Weird, literally the only people I've met in my life that were successful are all type-a personalities

type-a =/= alpha

I think all of the most successful people I've met have been pretty alpha. A lot of them have overwhelming personalities.

Most of them are still probably more successful than they otherwise would be with a different attitude.

Alphas aren't going to be replaced. When I hear internet folk talking about them it makes me think they hate them and the concept in general.

Now, if that's true then it follows that you want them eliminated and instead of them being successful, you would like to be successful in their stead. You would like to have what they have. Of course the deflection is that you did not say they had it. In fact that was your whole premise. But I'm inferring the inverse as the real premise for the motivation behind the post. No offense. Truly.

Tell me. Are you willing to edit the dna of all humans and overwrite the alpha genes so that everyone is someone that doesn't bother you? Everyone is more docile and friendly and easier to get along with and doesn't try to gain the top of the hill?

If you're really willing to do that. Please say it. Because that's the end game. Unless you're willing to do that, no amount of social engineering is ever going to stop the alpha wolf mentality from sifting through the rest.

I personally am not. I find nature to be superior to me. Besides, I've been a failure most of my life barely making it by. Who the hell would I be to make such a change to humanity. But you, maybe you think you're fit enough to make that call.

Or we can meet in the middle, you can admit you just don't like alpha males and I'd pat you on the back, hand you a beer and say "I get it, bro."
