Actually watching the video it says that he did this in an airline lounge which actually makes a bit more sense because those tend to be way less crowded than other areas in the airport. Also calling it simply a "dining area" ignores that these spots are generally set up to just be a place for chilling between flights.

That is a thing in countries with with sewage systems that are less robust than the US that really can't handle a lot of toilet paper.
