did you?

A lot of people report nausea or headaches.

I didn't get that but first jab my left arm went really numb and weak about an hour after the jab for about 9 days.

I'm super lucky because the doctor asked "do you want it on your left or right arm" and I was like "Ummmmm left I guess " and since I'm right handed if my right arm was numb like that i wouldn't have been able to work for a week.

Second jab was fine but It bled a lot. I think the doctor messed up. The needle was twice the size as the first jab needle.

Pfizer for the record

What was your experience?

I got Moderna, my arm hurt for three days and I couldn't lift it above my shoulders. No other side effects.

I forget what my vaccine was, but my arm was weak and slightly achy for the next 24 hours, as if I had carried heavy weights with it. I'm glad I chose the left arm. I couldn't even open the fridge without wincing.
I also felt enfeebled, like I had woken up ten minutes agofor the remainder of the day.
Other than those temporary inconveniences, I was fine.

Got Pfizer. Sore arm and feeling a little tired, but that's it. I remember getting a "high" first thing after getting them too. That made the 15 minute wait cool.

Never got much arm soreness, but I got almost no sleep that night. I was running a slight fever and felt a bit achy, and just rolled over and over all night. In the morning I felt perfectly fine except tired obvs.

First shot- it really only hurt a little bit where I got the injection.

Second shot- hurt more where I got the injection as the day went on. The next day I definitely felt flu-like so I only made it through a half shift at work (6-10). Felt fine the day after that though.

A bit of a sore arm the day after my first, but not to the extent that others seem to have had - tbh, I only really noticed it when people specifically asked if my arm hurt - and no issues at all with the second.

Pfizer and felt really gross and weak the second time. Also, unrelated to the vaccine but rather the needle. They hit a nerve so now whenever I get a current running through me during electrolysis, I feel it in that spot on my arm and it hurts and even can burn. Should heal on its own in another couple of months, but it really effing sucks.

Pfizer

1st shot: Area I got the shot was sore for a few days.

2nd shot: Felt achy for a few days.

Both very minor compared to what would have likely happened if I didn't get vaccinated.

First dose, sore arm started after around 4-5 hours, lasted around 3 days.

Second dose, sore arm after 12 hours. Second day, felt like flu but without the chills, fever or headache. So it was only tiredness and weakness. Felt fine on the third day. Arm soreness went away on the 4th day.

Moderna. 1st shot, just a sore arm for a couple days. 2nd shot, sore arm for a couple days + feeling lousy the day after the shot; basically like having a bad cold without the cough or congestion for 24 hours. 48 hours after the 2nd shot I was back to feeling fine. Most of the people I know had very similar symptoms.

I was administered the first dose recently.

I experienced a gamut of unwelcome side effects, including but not limited to:

Chills
Hot flushes
Insomnia due to said chills and hot flushes
Fever
Muscle aches
Nausea
Loose and watery stools
Fatigue

However, my attitude towards that motley assortment of temporary ailments was and remains that unpleasant as the experience was, it was infinitely preferable to contracting the virus, being hospitalised and/or popping my clogs. I would happily have another dose (and I shall, next month).
