Here in Sweden, if youre a member of the Church of Sweden you get to vote in the Church Election every four years.

Like all elections, if youre eligible to vote you get your voting card in the mail automatically.

Can you explain to me how the church of sweden works? From my understanding they separated it from the state a few years back, so its not like Denmark and Norway, but it also seems exactly liie Denmark and Norway to me.

so wait how is that fair? a true democratic voting system makes you pay for your voting ID, only issues them at a few select locations requiring hours of your time and a bunch of different forms of identification, and when you do eventually get to vote unless you're in the right area you're going to have to stand in line all day to do it.

I must admit that I dont quite understand the change which was supposed to have happened back then. Since we still have political parties in the Church Elections. I guess that the Government (Executive Power) and Riksdagen (Legislative Power) cannot influence the Church per se anymore. That the Church politicians are a separate entity.

I shall write an angry letter and demand that we embrace the way you describe!
