Ugly people get married all the time. Superficial standards aren't really that significant the further you get away from high school age. You'll always run into garbage-people, regardless of the demographic, but being 'ugly' isn't nearly as big of a hurdle as some people think.

What really matters is hygiene. You can be ugly as hell but if you shower regularly and wear clean clothes (including underwear and socks) you'll do fine. Maybe you won't get many tinder swipes, but that's not really the right metric to go by.
