Not that I know of, yet.

Something of a minor miracle considering I am surrounded by anti-vaxxers and anti-maskers in my family.

Not sure.

Hell even the regular flues can't get me.

Always had sinus problems so I don't count that.

Guess it's all the Scotch, Vodka and beer helping.

I believe I had it in January of 2020. It lasted 3 weeks and it was probably the worst sickness I experienced. I also lost my sense of smell and taste for a while. Which makes me believe I had it. I was on mucinex for 3 weeks. It was a life saver.

I got it from watching the last starwars movie in the theater... In December 2019.
Was sick with flu like symptoms for a week. DayQuil and NyQuil worked great tho.
I only learned that it was covid when I donated plasma and they told me I had covid spike protein antibodies, in higher concentration than the mRNA vax antibodies. Which means that I got sick before the vax.

Yeah, in November.

Must have been the UK variant.

Got sick really bad with fever, headache, chills, stomachache, fatigue, loss of smell and taste.

I fully recovered with no complications.

I still have antibodies to this day after I did a blood test.

Yeah, I tested positive over Christmas after a co-worker caught it.

Luckily I was asymptomatic, and my missus didn't catch it from me (or at least she was asymptomatic too), so it just meant that rather than having her Dad over for Christmas (he was in our support bubble, we weren't planning on being reckless) we spent ten days inside chilling with Christmas TV shows and the PlayStation.

It's lucky that it was over Christmas, really, because it meant we had loads of food in the house so isolating didn't present any grocery issues.

I dont think so. This was the first year in who knows how long that I didnt get some type of horrible cold or flu. It just goes to show that wiping shopping carts, wearing masks, and socially distancing work.

People where I live are finally starting to wear masks again, but they wont give you six inches in the store, much less six feet.

i'm scared of what will happen. i don't want to find out that i won the death lottery from covid. one way trip :( despite being vaccinated.

there's only 38 hospitals beds remaining in oregon. wont be any beds remaining for car accident victims or anyone not sick from covid soon enough.

would've gotten sick within the next 2 weeks as my grandfather gotten the illness. had my uncle decided to visit. it would've been shared with me too.

I had it in December.

It went through stages for me. The first two days felt like a cold, the next four felt like the flu, and the next four after that felt like a cold. It wasn't the worst I've had for sheer discomfort, but it held on and on.

It threw a wet blanket over the Christmas holiday, but I still have control of all of my faculties and extremities. For which I am grateful.

I think it was likely a weaker strain. I had two others in my immediate family who contracted it and they both had widely different symptoms.

now that you mention it, I got sick AF for the first time in years in December 2019. I didn't think it was covid because it wasn't reported in the area for a few months after. I wonder if it'd be worth checking out somehow.

Yes. Started feeling symptoms on the 13th of January, I didn't think it was covid at first because I spent the previous night outside in the cold for 20+ minutes waiting for the bus with a coworker. I just assumed that my cold like symptoms were because of me being out in the cold for a decent amount of time. Me and my household started to suspect that it was covid when everyone here was feeling sick, I soon got a test on the 17th and it came back that I was positive. According to the contact tracer we most likely got covid because my sister was a teacher assistant and there was a lot of covid cases in her school, fortunately everyone here fully recovered and had no complications from it.

Also I want to point out, thank goodness I always wore my mask whenever I was outside. Because at work I know I was pretty close to a couple of coworkers for a good period of time and if they would have gotten covid because of me then I don't even know how I would react to that >_>

I feel like shit often because of anxiety issues.. So perhaps a mild case slipped in there and disguised itself as my regular everyday body aches, fatigue and tight chest.

Yeah this...It's a theory but a lot of us at work got flu-like symptoms back in 2019 and this was before COVID was even mentioned. Checking later on to see if I had COVID in 2020, I tested negative. When you do a COVID test, are they able to tell if you had it previously or is the test relative to current symptoms?

Swab test is only for if you have the active virus. I'd need a blood test to check for spike antibodies.
