I ended up getting the J&J vaccination and so far based on the studies I have seen I am content with it, even ones concerning the Delta variant. The only downside is the studies are not as numerous as the other vaccines, so it is not studied as thoroughly.

Pfizer, and anything is better then nothing. in the low chance i get a breakthrough infection its highly likely i'll never see more then light cold symptoms. i'll get a booster if its requested.

Unvaccinated due to not yet being eligible (four more days until I can book in, though probably longer than that until I can actually get the appointment >_>). Will definitely be Pfizer though, as that's the only one being used here.

Me, little brother and mom got sinovac both shots.

No side-effect at all.

At that time my country only have sinovac but now have Pfizer thank to many first world country donate it.

Sorry for pestering you but whenever people say something like I always wonder, how long are you going to wait? I don't think there's ever been a vaccine that had long term effects showing up after 6 months of taking it and it's been more than 6 months for alot of people by now.

You do know that a 99% survival rate is really bad, right? That means 1 out of 100 people die. You can also get covid multiple times. Also, death isn't the only concern with covid. Lots of people who get covid are suffering from long term issues that may never go away.

A 99% survival rate, assuming people only get it once, means 3,280,000 people die.

What is the population of America, 360m? Let me tell you a secret: 100% of those people are going to die. But not all in one year. Same goes for the people who will die of Covid, most people will probably either never get it, or get it every few years at most. And then, the vast majority of deaths will be in the very old, just like with flu.

Even with the vaccines, unless they make them a lot better than they are now, people will continue to die too, again, just like with flu. They aren't perfect and don't claim to be. Look at the Israel situation I linked to recently with regards to hospitalisations, serious illness and death, among their highly vaccinated population.

So it isn't that 1 in 100 people will die. It's that 1 in 100 who get it, will die, but if you're under 50 and healthy, your chances of survival go up substantially, whether vaccinated or not.

I literally told you the population of the US and you still asked what it is.

Currently, unvaccinated covid patients are filling up ICUs across the country and making it harder for non-covid patients to get the care they need. A man in Houston was shot 6 times, but had to wait at least 10 days for surgery because covid patients were taking up all of the ICU beds.

And again, death isn't the only concern with covid, but you've already displayed a lack of reading ability. There isn't much of a point in continuing to respond to you.
