Board 8 > Well shit, I finally figured out that song that played at work.

I kept thinking the line was "Instead of Me" but I could never tell because I work in a factory, so unless you're right next to the speakers I could never pick up what was actually being said. Then today, I finally got to a part of the building when it was playing where I could hear, and I managed to pick up the fact that there was violins playing as well.

Then I heard the line "Somebody make me feel alive" so I typed that in and finally found the song.

This had been driving me crazy for 8 months. Which isn't nearly as bad as the 3 years it took me to figure out "Ain't It Fun" by Paramore.

I once heard a song at work that I only got a little snippet of the melody from, and it's done me no good for 11 years. I also once heard a song at a restaurant that I really liked, but Shazam didn't pick it up and I couldn't get any results out of what I made of the lyrics.

On the plus side, we're right around the 10 year anniversary of me finally finding this after an 10-year search, so I guess the lesson is never give up?:
