Some lady I used to hang out with is now going off on Facebook calling mandatory vaccinations for healthcare workers (she is one) fascist. I'm trying to reason with her, but it's ridiculous. It is pretty delusional to think that we will ever reach 100% vaccination rate. Also by the time you even reached that point, the individuals who received the vaccine in the beginning would be losing immunity since it seems like the vaccines support only last for 6-8 months as evident by the CDC recommending booster shots. This is one aspect I agree with you on. Privately owned businesses should be allowed to make their own choice and let the market play out. If they only want to serve vaccinated individuals, that is completely in their right and unvaccinated people need to go elsewhere. If they want to serve both, that is completely in their right too and if someone feels unsafe, they can go shop elsewhere. The government forcing businesses to either serve only vaccinated individuals or force them to serve everyone if they dont want to isnt right.

AFAIK, that was never the plan. 100% vaccination rate wouldnt be possible since some people cant get the vaccine. Like people who are allergic or immunocompromised and stuff

Which is pretty rare. This group would almost entirely be made up of people who had an adverse reaction (e.g. anaphylaxis) during their first dose of a two-dose vaccine (and even in that case they'd have received one dose). And that is on the order of ~1 per 100,000 first doses.
