Gotham police dont seem to do anything when he gives them to them.

They never help anyone in the asylum or kill them themselves. They escape all the time.

Jokers still aware that hes killing people and that its wrong. None of them show insanity to the point of not understanding what theyre doing or that its wrong.

Joker would still get away. Cant use death penalty on the insane. I am surprised an arkham guard hasnt done it yet but iirc they make out like even in the asylum anyone not careful around him ends up dead. Like he's really competent in both intelligence and hand to hand skills just not batman level.

I like a batman that kills but I guess one reason he doesnt is cause he realizes he practically a criminal too and its not his place to be judge jury and exectioner. Think in one comic he says "weve always been criminals nothings changed" to nightwing or someone.

I can. If I was living in Gotham, the first thing I would do is become a cop and kill all the supervillains under my watch. Then kill Batman himself for enabling them. Because that's all the Caped Cuckold is. An enabler.

Cops dont kill villains probably partially due to being scared of the bat themselves.

And lol no real world human would ever be able to beat batman

It's annoying how much heat batman gets for not killing the joker when the justice system is the one at fault. Something to my knowledge DC has never really addressed aside from an excuse to keep batmans rouges alive for future storys. But then why constantly bring up Bruce's morals in storys without ever acknowledging this elephant in the room?

There is literally NO limit to the crimes the insane can commit. Nor any reason not a single governor of Gotham has ever challenged it if only to protect themselves and the elites hides.

Do you remember what he did to Joker in that movie?

He killed a bunch of other people too.

Heck, you could say he killed the Joker twice.
(Once in the beginning, and again at the end)

Made me think of one of my favorite scenes in a batman movie "I dont kill but I dont have to save you" or something to that affect. In reality I realize it was an asspull to explain letting dude die without making batman look bad since dude is supposed to be immortal and those of us who knew that where expecting him to return.

Two different batmen in there. One clearly had no problem killing.

Ras he simply refused to save. No one has legal obligation to save someones life. Dont really remember the bane one. That movie was kinda forgetable aside from a dark Knight returns reference

I think Val Kilmer & George Clooney were the nice guys. Even then, pretty sure Val Kilmer Batman killed Two-Face on purpose to save Robin from the guilt of doing so. And Adam West, of course. He had a reputation to uphold. He didnt kill anyone. I think.

Not saving someone is not the same as not killing them.

In BvS id even argue he doesnt go out of his way to kill except superman (whom he viewed as threat to the whole world) Everyone else where actively trying to kill him as well. Kinda like some versions of wonder woman being ok if a enemy dies in combat but she wouldnt kill them if they where already defeated.

Having your friend blow the support struts on a monorail and then taunting someone to let them know theyre about to die, and flying away in the only parachute (which could support two).... is sorta kinda maybe definitely killing someone.

New Jersey abolished the death penalty in 2006. That's where Gotham supposedly is.

Thought the dent thing was unintentional. Kinda like im year 1 he almost killed a teen knocking them over a railing but barely managed to grab his foot.

I need to rewatch the first 2 movies. Third one was just ehh. I got they wanted a realism thing with the trilogy but a super steroid of sorts seemed more realistic than whatever that thing on his face was.

In the movie , Batman and Robin accidentally kill bad guy who has there body compromised. And for a silly movie where Batman was running around with a cartoon bomb. These deaths of nobodies was treated like someone really lost their lives. So while it was not his fault his action in self defense led to people dying.

I mentioned location was wrong. But again dont think in the old days region of country was ever brought up. That changed later cause they wanted his city closer to supermans I guess. Hell ibwas shocked at how close they where in the BvS movie

But im going off a comic nerd I know that used to live in Chicago. He said there was a lot of similarities. Aesthetics. The fact its known as a cesspool of crime. And some other things I think.
