I hope they release the campy first pilot they shot, and I hope the fans like it more then the reshot pilot. Anyone think this will actually get greenlit? Or will it die like Green Arrow and the Canaries? The ONLY thing that might intrigue me about a LA Power Puff Girls would be if the PPG themselves were mostly intact (either animated character in a live-action setting or casting kids) so that aspect could contrast against a more serious setting, cast, etc, for laughs, or go with monsters in costumes or some shit. That or the show was crossing over multiple CN properties at once. The whole "Oh, now they grew up and they're srs! We saw that hot mess of a pilot and they were trying really hard to make it "relevant" and hip like a typical CW show. If it was ACTUALLY campy it would be fine. This should be an action comedy with a lot of dumb gags.
