A Former unidentified Loudoun County Student was cut off during a public school board meeting on transgender bathroom policy where he says he was a victim of sexual abuse by a Man as a child and didn't want his brothers to go through the same as he objected to the policy claiming PREDATORS would slip through the cracks!!

The policy would force staff at all county public schools to call on students from elementary school upwards by their preferred pronouns and let them use bathrooms and locker rooms of the gender they assign with.

It has been fiercly opposed by some teachers and staff and the public against their religion from the progressive school board who voted on it

The vote was scheduled for then but so many parents and the public showed up it turned into chaos as the man who spoke said "As a 13 y/o boy i was molested. I don't want sexual predators to slip through the cracks by pretending to be transgender while sexually assaulting our kids. The policies here today are tying the hands of teachers and parents. I would never want what happen to me to happen to somebody else. I look at my little brothrs and am reminded of the things i've gone through. Kids are not safe from this policy and i am warning you, sexual predators will find a way into our kids rooms"

His mic was cut off after that and he left the board meeting without identifying who he was

The county is one of the RICHEST in America but has become a microcosm of cultural battle that is going on in most parts of the country

As always, this is just another example of people conflating members of the queer community with predatory behavior, as if queer people aren't the ones more likely to be victimized in such a way.

If he is concerned about sexual assault in bathrooms, then he should advocate for gender neutral single stall bathrooms. Instead, this guy is advocating for seperation by genitals (unenforceable) which, btw, would not protect cis boys from cis male predators (like HIM), and would not protect cis girls from cis female predators, and would not protect anyone against intersex predators, etc, etc... it's nonsense. His position does nothing to prevent sexual assault at all; it just puts trans and intersex people in more danger than they already are. Since he does not advocate for gender neutral single stall bathrooms, I can only interpret his position as being one of bigotry.

I don't understand the relevancy of his story.

He was molested as a child and that is sad, but I have no clue what it has to do with bathroom policy.

While tragic it doesnt relate to bathrooms or transgender people in any way.

I hope someone reaches out to him though because he obviously has some very real PTSD from what was done to him and he needs help. Millions and millions of people just need some help. We gotta help em.

It's always fun to ask people that use this argument against trans-friendly bathrooms what their opinions are on gun-free zones. Apparently a sign on the door is helpless to stop a gunman, but works perfectly against pedophiles.
