What are your thoughts on this?

If a "Navy Talent Acquisition Scout" came to you now or at high school and said "let's discuss your job opportunities" would you react the same as you did when the "Navy Recruiter" came to talk to you?

It does not bother me, but Im also not the intended demographic.

Anyway, I see the Navy as offering benefits that some people need. This will be offset by their service and sacrifices, given military duty is not like other jobs.

Btw, TC youre still in the military, yes?

Not a military guy of any sorts but difficulty-wise, how is the Navy compared to the army, air force, or marines.

I don't know if I'd say Navy recruiters have a primary target. They will be happy to sign up anyone who meets the qualifications.

How do you define "difficulty"?

I think our evaluation and advancement system is extremely fair.

From a physical readiness perspective it is probably the easiest. Only three events - cardio, planks and push-ups. And in a lot of cases the cardio is what you want it to be, depending on what the command can support. That includes running on a track, running on a treadmill, running on a path, riding a stationary bike, rowing machine or even swimming. For the other branches you *must* run unless you're on a medical profile.

I mean I think the lifestyle is probably hard, being deployed for months on end away from home. But I will also probably never experience that so for me it's just been one long cushy office job with some really unrealistic characters along the way.
