I overall really enjoyed this franchise and would check out any new ones. But I'm fine with it being done.

But still this is pretty unusual for a rather well liked horror franchise that doesn't require returning characters or anything. Although horror franchises in general don't pump out as many movies as they used to. Which is actually pretty interesting because you'd think low budget horror sequels that would make a killing on streaming services.

They do.

So much so that Streaming Services tend to do contracting with offstream studios as opposed of leaning into the mainline avenues.

I thought the last movie was good. It was the one before that which was weak.

I mean long running franchises like Elm Street, Friday the 13th etc. Haven't really seen anyone do much with them.

Although stuff like Evil Dead and Scream have TV shows.

Just need to make one more where Tony Todd confronts the survives, rips off his face revealing the entire time he was Death. Then he eliminates the survivors as flashbacks of every death pop up on screen.

I love the Final Destination movies tbh (except 4, 4 is trash).

THey're dumb, but super fun and creative, and they're a great "Shut your brain off" horror movie. I honestly really hope they make another movie in the franchise, they're a lot of fun.
