I dont care for the Wolf gimmick but otherwise felt the combat was the pinnacle of the series. What little I played of wind waker the combat seemed on par but the sailing gimmick killed my interest. Its highly popular though. Ocarina of time is a classic but taking off my rose tinted nostalgia glasses I can tell you it's the most bare bones 3d zelda. It simply set the template for later games to improve upon. Still a damn good game though. Skyward sword is different. I'm enjoying it so far but I can already tell its not going to be my favorite other than maybe story. 2D zeldas. Id recomend the Oracle games and links awakening. A link to the past is super popular but to me it was just simply good not amazing. The nes games aged poorly imo (and are really hard without a guide) and other than minish cap I haven't really played the gba games. The D-Pad is killing my thumb though, as you can't just hold it down and keep moving (even with the Bard character who doesn't have the rhythm mechanics like the rest do). --- Equin 2: The Warren Peace- My Roguelike. Such an awsome game might drop 49$ and get skyward sword hd. But still on the fence.
