It was cool having pretty much full access to a hospital as an unpaid IT intern.

Technically arent most people born in one? So most have been in one.

I once got into the ER at University of New Mexico Hospital basically as soon as I walked in the door.

That's really bad.

Once when I went into preterm labor with my son.

Two weeks later when my son was born (2 months prematurely).

Again several years later for a c-section for my daughter (1 month premature).

Those are my only overnight stays.

I'm a hospital pharmacist, so I go to one daily.

But as a patient, I've been to a few but never made it past the ER.

I've spent a fair bit of time in one over the past 4 years. Last year I was a patient for 9 days after my new pacemaker became infected, that sucked.

Many times. I think it's pretty insane for anyone to not have ever been to one, even just to walk in and ask where the bathroom is or something.

Several times a year as a patient. Visited my mum loads as a kid. Had a 2 week stay in a mental ward. Was a student nurse but dropped out. Hate the places

I had the flu and it resulted in me becoming severely dehydrated when I was 7. I had to stay four nights with an IV for fluids. Another time got my tonsils and adenoids removed + tubes in my ears. Didnt stay overnight though.

Interned at a hospital for five weeks as a biomed technologist (person who performs maintenance, repairs and installs medical equipment).

Ive been working field service for the past 11 years, visiting many hospitals across Canada to do similar work on contrast media injectors.

My first son was born at a hospital and had to spend 8 days in the NICU. He got bounced around to a couple different hospitals during this time.

Many times, originally was saying I never went as a patient but I have had at least blood tests and vaccinations done at them sometimes.

Never stayed overnight at one.

Have received some outpatient care.

Couple eye surgeries.

was in the hospital for 3 days for severe asthma attack when i was 4 or 5.

had to go to the hospital for seizure incident (dehydration/heat was most likely cause)

had to go to the hospital for a sprained ankle (had to walk home on a painful leg for nearly a mile) before my leg gave way (walking was really painful) ended up getting crutches which i couldn't use for one hand because it too was fucked.

Yeah, I spent a couple weeks once because of surgery. I mean I had the same surgery twice before but that last time they went all out to make sure I didnt get a collapsed lung a fifth time.

i used to go to a special needs hospital for children a lot when i was little because of my cerebral palsy
