Yeah I've been thinking about maybe hosting e4s mount farms for FLAME. Not sure about e8s and e12s yet. Maybe after another tier.

I got my E4s mount. The second clear of that fight was rough; no one was actively giving advice as to what to do until we were consistently reaching the big guy phase, and even then the same two or three members of the party kept killing me with their ineptitude. Now I just need eight more clears, preferably with a good party, so I'll have my achievements for it all done.

Meanwhile, I'm 59/99 on Diamond Totems. So I'll have my second last gwiber in the next twenty runs of DiamEx or less.

82 MNK. starting to get a handle on this I think. I don't like MNK lol

Mnk does feel awkward, especially with how you have to do certain combos to trigger a specific gcd depending on whether you need a single target or an aoe, but even then I like it leagues more than Nin. lol

There's the Diamond Gwiber bought and done. Now I need to learn, clear, and farm SoSEx.

My E4s clears are at 5/10.

Once I have those achievements, I should be none too far from the 80% mark for available points. The Firmament crafting ought to push me into the goal/milestone I've made for myself, pre 6.1.

Well, I still need a bunch more Guile Xs and IXs for my offhand gathering tools, and then to stock up on materia for the 6.1 gear. Otherwise, my gatherers are in fine shape at the moment. They'd meet the caps on the current nodes if I'd gone nuts with left-side melds, rather than VIIs and VIIIs (and leaving mainhands empty for now). Once the offhands are done, Min and Btn will have 900 gp before food, which is a lot.

I also didn't get to do SoSEx today, because after a bad run of Rabanastre, I was largely drained mentally.

I did, however, grab a bunch of raw mats to make the lv90** materials HQ. They probably won't be enough for a crafter set in 6.1, but they'll expediate the process of gearing up if I take care of them now.

I tried SoSEx tonight. We came close to clearing, at one point, but mostly got stuck at the add/ultimate phase. With some practice and another group, probably, I'll get it down and be able to farm my last gwiber.

Got my MNK to 90, and WHM to 82. Just 6 more classes to level.

So next week I'll be popping a handful of achievements that have been coming for a wee bit. One is the 1500 A Ranks achievement, and the other four are for Btn and Min unique leves (x90 and x100 for each). I'm hoping to get my last gwiber and Lander Waffle in this time period as well.

There's a Live Letter on April 1. Expect the big patch to be on April 12th.

Will I be at 80% current, available points by then? We shall see.

SoSEx is cleared. I'm still polishing my know-how in the fight, and have four totems; gods, I came so close to getting the trumpet on my first clear. It's a work in progress at least.

I got a couple more titles from Ocean Fishing tonight (Octopi and Seahorses) as well as my Dolphin minion. It's nice that that has been going better than my SoSEx groups all day. <_<

I rolled a 1 on the chest piece last night. :| At least I'm guaranteed to get it next week.

So I have passed the 80% mark on achievement points. Now I mainly need to knock out some small goals here and there while waiting for the patch in presumably a week and a half.

Good ol' Eureka...

I hung out in Hydatos for a lockout and a half today and made over 250k gil before logos actions, which should net another 120k or more after market fees. I also earned enough Hydatos Crystals to finally complete my eighth Eureka weapon, leaving seven to go. I doubt I will be getting those weapons and achievements done just yet, but it's nice to get a little done before the big patch. As long as I finish them before the next relic line begins, I'll be more than happy. Make some more money on the side too? Sure.

Soon I intend to learn and clear the two recent Ex fights finally. I need to farm them for cards, and eventually also for mounts.

GARO event is coming back!

EW's first Ex is down. I may still need callouts to where to go for a couple spots, because yay depth perception issues, but I've done it. No lynx yet, though, but I'll worry about that later.

So I'm at 20,420 total achievement points at the moment. Next week I'm just going to max my scrips and weekly tomes, make sure to time my (and a friend's) garden to be fully grown during maintenance, and have enough gemstones ready in case I need to grab mats from there. Next week, I do not need to touch achievements at all.

One more week to the maintenance and subsequent content patch.

So far my white gathering scrips are capped. All crafting ones will be done tomorrow with custom deliveries. Purple gathering ones will be done soon. Astro tomes and Gemstones will be easy enough. Everything else should be good by now, including what mats I've made HQ.

I'll be interstate for the next week, no time to cap out on anything :(

When I get back my FC is 100% focused on getting the new housing which is gonna open up, a lot of coordination and gil flying around it's scary haha

Of the jobs I bothered to touch while leveling, Blm was definitely not my favorite.

Preliminary patch notes for 6.1 are out. This patch honestly doesn't look super big on new content, but there's a ton of quality of life improvements overall game changes

Hopefully getting the new mats for the crafter/gatherer gear won't be too bad. Like I suspect I'll be able to desynth level 90 dungeon gear for some of it, and I have my scrips all capped so I can buy some. We'll know for sure which aethersand we'll need too.

In terms of QoL, I am of the opinion that the solo support is too soon, what with how many people still play the game. And they did away with the best mechanic--a sort of enrage timer--on one dungeon boss because NPCs were presently unable to handle it? Maybe cook their AI a little longer, Yoshi, please...

Very excited to jump into PvP! Today while I couldn't play FFXIV, I did some shiny hunting in PLA then I started a 99 Arcane build in Bloodborne. The flamesprayer is kinda broken in the early game, not gonna lie. I melted the Cleric Beast and Blood-starved Beast

I keep getting up to needing one more win to get out of Silver 3, then I lose 3 games in a row and have to start the tier over x_x

EX3 cleared! Mount dropped but I did not win. ;-;

I need to go back into Aglaia to get one of the five pieces of armor I want from there, but I've basically finished the PvE stuff except for Ex3.

I do have to gather for and make my new crafting gear, though. That's going to take a bit, and that is fine; I'm not in a hurry. I do, however, want to update my stats on Team craft and test my Expert macro to see how many Quality or Progress steps I can shave off the full thing. One or two Quality steps are likely, but I might be lucky to see half of a Progress step saved. This will be good to know in terms of time on my food or pots buffs, but also in cp available when the macro is over and I may or may not have Progress left to fill.

Anywho, I got my Zenos card, and still have like ten more cards to collect eventually. Fun times.

Aww. I cleared it last night, that's quite a fun fight but definitely had trouble with one of the later phases. Cleared it by just DPSing harder and skipping the phase haha

I've played around with the new crafter gear on Ariyala, and put the projected stats on my Teamcraft. When I get on momentarily, I am going to pull up my Expert Crafts macro, since that is where I have it stored, and test it out on the Teamcraft site; making tweaks where needed. If I can save a step or two on Quality from the extra 352 Control, I'll be happy. The Progress? That 425 extra Craftsmanship might shave half a Progress step, at most. <_<

Apparently the new Big Fish in 6.1 are stupid easy to get, so I'll work on those when I have the time for them. haha

I was literally one win away from Gold. I stopped to drink my potion, and I saw one by one my teammates leave the crystal while I was casting. I was like "noooooooooo"

Then I lost the next like 6 matches and dropped back down to Silver 3. -_-

Thankfully, four of the six new achievements for the Garo event are fairly easy to get for me since I'd earned the gear on other jobs in the past. Gnb and Rpr, though? I had to spend 14k Wolf Marks on the former since it uses the Mnk/Sam look but has Drg stats, and I will have to do the same for Gnb since it uses the Aiming look with tank stats. Ugh... I didn't want to have to touch pvp again so soon, but I guess I'll have to.

Anywho!

I have the mats, and the necessary macros, to make my Pactmaker gear. I just have to finish making all of the hannish and danburite. I should have done the maths right on the immutable solutions and aethersand.
