Darmik 08/06/21 1:17:31 AM #8:	Doom is overall the more iconic series due to its legacy but I don't think Doom Guy is all that iconic of a character. Master Chief is way more consistent. Jeff AKA Snoopy posted... Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal were both on console as well, and both far more recently since Master Chief was relevant... If you just showed a bunch of random people a picture of Doom Guy, the majority of them wouldn't be able to tell you what he's from. Even a good number of people who have actually played the Doom series. You almost never actually see the character you play as in Doom games.
