Im decent looking and havent had much of a problem attracting or approaching someone and vibing out Im used to sorta going through Instagram and setting up dates but these past few years Ive been really just focused on making money and taking care of my mental health >_>

This was all sort of the result of a really bad relationship, I dont think I reached that sort of low point in my life.. but whatever, point is I havent really been putting myself out there except for this one date I had a two weeks ago with this person I sorta ended up blowing off

I guess I just wanna meet someone feeling just as lonely as me, but I dunno if the crowd on there is just bar, bar, bar which Im sorta past at this point in my life

I guess Im sort of wondering why Im even asking this question to begin with and cant just say fuck it, maybe you guys can help >_>

I dunno what it's like now but when I used dating apps 5 years ago tinder was by far the worst, trashiest one and I never had a good date from it

I got lots of good dates and eventually my wife from plenty of fish

If you're attractive and have normal pictures with your friends it's easy to get dates, I went on two a week that whole summer

I used a few mobile apps like bumble and tinder but I didn't like what was offered on those sites. Met my fiance on OKCupid. In fact, most of my luck came from there.

The best dating apps right now are Bumble and Hinge. If you dont look like a male model then the Tinder algorithm will give your account a low value and you wont get many matches after the first week. Plenty of Fish has a lot of lonely and desperate people on there so thats an option but I dont think the overall quality is that high

I would have used to have strongly suggested OKCupid but they changed up some things with their site a couple of years ago that made it a major pain. Do some research though, all these sites are somewhat different. I'd definitely label Tinder as more of a hookup site. You already missed the golden age of online dating though.

yea I've never used it myself but from what I gather it's good if you're feeling frisky and just want to get down like a dirt wild animal with a nice piece of ass lol.

If you want long-term it's still possible but less likely on there.

I don't know if it's just because I'm into sappy music as a musician, but I've always liked the idea of romance.. seeing someone, being genuinely happy to see them, feeling excited to see them and see parts of them I don't understand.. building curiosity >_>

But I dunno if that happens on these apps honestly, I guess I can be excited about the hookup portion but I dunno if they'd really be as excited to see me as I am about seeing them

Only one way to really find out I suppose.. but I got so used to meeting someone impromptu without some kind of virtual gentlemen's agreement between two parties that I got a feeling I'd be saying niiiiiiiiiice and then say man but this is lame, I'm just some 'thing' for someone to get their nut on
