It sounds like danault is definitely gonna be gone one way or another and that sucks. I have no problem with Tatar leaving. I think he's good and he can be... but there's a reason he was a healthy scratch most of the playoffs. It'll suck to see danault go but Tatar either wasn't happy or hes fallen off. Either way Montreal is better off without him.

I'd do it in a second, that would be one of those dream jobs, like if I got lost at sea i'd die a happy man being able to experience that. End goal for a while was to move up to Maine and get into commercial fishing, like lobster or crab, and get out of my damn office chair. A lot of shit threw a wrench into that but it might at least be a retirement option near or on the water.

Same... if I could I would do it in a heartbeat. It's like romantic and way more appealing version of up north construction work on mills or oil fields when that was still a thing where there were jobs.

I put everything into getting into radio and finally got a full time job at 25 then at 30 the station was bought out and I got offered a job in prince George and I just didn't wanna leave the valley so it turned it down... I hate construction and every year I age I develop a fear of heights more and more.

If I could do it all again I'd actually go to hs and get good grades and not just do the absolute bare fucking minimum to graduate.

I was such a dumb fuck when I was in school. I feel so bad for my dad when I think about all the shit I put him through.

I can deal under the right conditions when I have to.... but over the last few years I've changed.

Doing mills i was walking on 8 inch wide perlins 60 feet in the air.

One day a few years ago I was putting up trusses on a 4 storey building and just had a panic attack. I finished the job but ever since I just can't deal with heights anymore. I swear it gets worse as I age. I used to think setting up scaffolding and working on it was fun.

My one uncle stopped skiing in his late 50s cause he couldn't handle the lifts anymore and I'm scared maybe that'll be me one day.

Had my annual review and got a payrise woo. Pretty happy given the company lost money in the last 12 months due to COVID. It was a small payrise, just over 3%, but a lot of people got nothing so yeah.

The artic i probly couldn't do, but if somebody said hey ill cover your rent for a year I'd happily head out into the bush here and start September first and take a ton of canned food, lighters, water purification tablets, matches, a rifle and shotgun and a bunch of seeds to get me from spring to next September.

By the end of September I'd have a sweet hobbit hole built and me and Walter would be chilling through winter with our non perishables and by March its all looking up.

Fuck man, I'm actually gonna die when I can finally get the Pfizer vaccine. I had my whooping cough booster on Tuesday in prep for when the baby arrives and my arm feels like it's going to fall off and my back hurts.

I'm such a bitch with pain, from what I've read the Pfizer vaccine (especially the second dose) can knock you around. I'm gonna be in bed for 2 days.

Still 2 months until I can get it.... fucking federal government and their botched rollout plan.
