The family of beloved grandmother, 47 y/o Fernanda Vega died last week from COVID-19 have now RECONSIDERED their anti-vax stance and now WANT the shots!!

She's a mother of and grandmother of TEN, and is a longtime healthcare worker who died on July 13th from the virus

Her grieving husband, Ysmael is now looking to get their entire family vaccinated after previously refusing to do so due to anti-vax sentiments on the side effects

He tells Fox 10, "With what i have experienced, i don't want to go through this again. I do not"

He said she was the rock of this family and everybody went to her for everything as they relied on her a lot

Ysmael himself is still recovering from the virus that he got weeks ago prior to his wife's death and it was in fact HIS diagonsis that SPREAD the virus in the household with both his 17 y/o son and wife catching it

Her symptoms got worse however thinking she was going to survive it and she was admitted to a local Phoenix hospital as they found a blood clot in her lungs with a weak pulse

She died within an HOUR of arriving

Dr. Joshua LaBaer noted nearly all covid deaths now are among the unvaccinated and the number of new cases in Arizona has quadrupled as nearly half of America are still refusing the shots

Arizona used to see a rolling average of 500 cases per day but is now seeing 1000 cases a day with the US virus rate now rising

A Gofundme page was launched with now over 17,000 in donations.

47 year old grandma isn't that bad on the crazy scale, that's two pregnancies in the early-mid 20s, which is really early, but it isn't like both girls getting pregnant in high school.

I mean, at least the family learned the lesson. Its a shame grandma had to die to learn it, but maybe they'll remember it with the next big issue they need to listen to the science for.

Gee. Who would have thought that being an anti-vaxxer during a deadly pandemic could possibly have any sort of consequences? I'm shocked that they actually learned their lesson. I didn't think those sorts of people were mentally capable of it? Although they have been remarkably quiet since this started.

I can understand being cautious of a brand new, and admittedly rushed vaccine, and waiting to make sure it was fairly safe for people before you took it.

I don't understand why these people screech and stomp their feet and pull false scientific facts out of their ass about why vaccines are bad?

Lack of sexual education? What a stupid statement. Everyone commenting on a 47yr old grandmother shows a lack of intelligence. Shes almost 50? Almost everyone I know had kids by the time that their parents were 50.

Example: Go to college, graduate and land huge job at 22, buy a house at 23 and get married/have kids. That very offspring also graduates college at 22, achieves good job, and within one year of just daily work, marries that girl he was with all throughout college. Result, 46 year old grandmother. What planet are you all living on? Most people get married within 3 years of graduating college. For example youre probably dating a girl in school, and after a few years of dating AFTER school, it adds up to 3-4 years and women will leave of you if you cant figure out whether you want to spend your life with them after 4 years. All my guy friends experienced the same.

They have a kid at 20 and their kid has one at 20 and that leaves you with a 7yo (going based on that pic, the oldest one is probably the one on the left who i dont think is even 7 yet)

Those are the people that end up divorced too and then people here go on that the divorce rate is 50%.

No one I knew got married right after college.
We went on for masters or other testing/training.

And even if they got married in their 20s most waited until around 30 for kids to be far enough in their careers. Especially true for the women.

I live in the northeast though. Have a feeling the South isnt like this.

I don't understand what you're trying to prove. Studies have shown that places with either abstinence only or substandard sex ed programs show that rates of teen pregnancy is higher. Just because you know someone who had a kid young and you didn't doesn't disprove that.

Also, studies show that having kids in your teens and early 20s is not the norm

@eston Apparently so. It drives me insane. Especially since she always wants to visit and see my baby daughter. Although she at least wears a mask all the time. Her excuse in the very beginning was that she wanted to see how everyone else reacted to the vaccine at first.

Don't be afraid or embarrassed to take your social media as a tool to meet people. I would stay away from applications that force you to meet strangers such as tinder, bumble, etc. But using social media to connect with familiar faces is a great weapon. I successfully achieved a date 2 years ago by friend requesting a woman that went to my university. We never met because we never had a class together. She is still my girlfriend today ^_^ So just make sure there is familiarity, you went to school together or have mutual friends, etc. Push your luck you'd be surprised. Just make sure you stay away from anything with zero familiarity, anything where strangers meet up, big no no. My opinion.
