Probably to make it seem somewhat relatable for the guys watching.

Also having sex on camera and having it be sold to the public isn't exactly a respectable job in the eyes of most societies. I mean the average guy would definitely want to have sex with JAV girls but ask if they'd be willing to do it on camera and have it be sold? Most respectable guys who care about their image and/or have families and careers would say no. That probably leaves weird outcast men who are willing to do it. I think this might be part of why, especially in a conservative society like Japan.
