No one film or scene or movie from my childhood sticks out, probably because I watched a lot of the horror genre as a little girl. If I had to put my finger on one or two it would probably be Pet Sematary or Child's Play. I vaguely remember getting creeped out by some episodes of Twilight Zone but nothing immediately comes to mind.

There is one episode of a TV show that, if it was shown when I was a kid, would have traumatised me. And that is Blink from Doctor Who.

Even as an adult the weeping angels scare the shit out of me lol

I think Sixth Sense had the longest lasting effects of me feeling creeped out at times that there might be ghosts hanging around.

I saw one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies when I was a kid and a certain death scene stuck with me, where a girl turns into a cockroach while some friends are stuck in a time loop and she gets squished by Freddy. I think it was IV?

For me it was Jaws. I saw it when I was 7, and then my parents took us to Florida when I was 8. I didn't want to go on my cousins boat in the ocean because I was afraid of getting attacked by a shark.

Had a nightmare involving the Haunted Halloween mask from Goosebumps (specifically the 2nd one) that I couldn't watch/read Goosebumps for awhile.

Otherwise probably the Rose Red miniseries. I tended to stay away from scary movies as a kid.

Not really on topic, but a similar topic on a different message board reminded me of how spooked I always was by the guy on the Neighborhood Watch signs as well:

Oh, uh for my answer... the episode of Transformers where Optimus Prime is brought back as a zombie. Four year old me was not prepared to process that information, especially when he looked like this:

As far as scariest, I'd say Hexxus' transformation into the glowing skeleton near the end of the film in 1992's FernGully: The Last Rainforest.

I skipped the final conflict with Ursula at the end of 1989's The Little Mermaid several times after watching it the first time. When I was 4, I watched it in the pediatric ward of the hospital with my roommate. I asked her if she wanted to skip that part too because it was scary, and she agreed. According to my parents, she never had any visitors. I think about her from time to time, and still hope she's okay.

Honorable mention goes to Professor Screweyes from 1987's We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. That glint of light off his screw eye was freaky, plus he was mean.

What scared me amounts to mild peril most of the time. I got very stressed out by chase scenes before I understood the concept of 'plot armor'. I worried about the mice in the Rescuers, I worried about the golden eagle and her eggs in Rescuers Down Under, etc.

Fear is subjective

Film:Arachnophobia-I am very arachnophobic and this still scares me.

Show-Are You Afraid of the Dark?: The Tale of Laughing in the Dark-Pennywise, and clowns in general never bothered me. Zeebo is an exception to that rule.
