I'm LV47 right now, going on 48. Me and some random wizard dude went around Sunhold killing stuff. Got a little sidetracked, since I'm really just trying to get into the Psijic line, but eh well. Nice to have a good experience in a public dungeon for once, haha. Should do one of those group finder things that was mentioned a few pages back.

You basically have to guess where it is within the first four attempts because it's so damn deep. Luckily, you get infinite retries, so I did end up finding it. Damn it feels good to be a Psijic gangsta.

Okay, I got bored of Artaeum and went to Riften's region to snoop around. Might go back and do a dungeon, though, so I can get all the Vanus objects. Also upgraded my excavation scrying, so now I don't have to fly blind when searching tiles -- score!

Turned on damage/buff/healing numbers and have icons displayed for expiring DoT/AoE stuff. Was honestly hoping for this, but didn't want the icons to be smack dab in the middle third of the screen. Eh well.

Yeahhhhhh, I can find gold-tier scrying stuff now. Gonna try to follow up on some of those leads I got weeks ago, 'cause they're about to expire. Not sure what the final (ultimate) rank entails, though...haven't found any of that stuff.

Went through a public dungeon today with a random lightning-cloaked dude and he MASSACRED groups of 5-6 enemies in seconds. Meanwhile, my necromancer has to setup with Graveyard (which everyone leaves ASAP) and fling single-shot fireballs to maybe squeak out a win, lmao. Anyone know what class that one was? It's not the usual "throw spear of light" ones, but they were constantly using lightning attacks.

Was it someone with a blueish lightning coloured circle around them? Thats the sorcerer imo the best dps class in the game and my current main. the circle itself doesnt deal the highest dmg but sorcerers other abilities nuke anything really fast so its very enjoyable to play which is why i switched away from templar which i felt was kinda clunky and uncomfortable in comparison.

To be fair anyone with high CP can make public dungeons and other such content look laughable.

Okay, I'm gonna screw around in Blackwood for awhile. Might hop to all kinds of places to scry for legendary stuff (already found 5-6 fragments so far), but mostly because I want to try out companions. They must be decent, 'cause I see basically everyone having one.

There are only three companions, right? I assume they fit the fighter/mage/archer build. Might go with a frontliner guy since necromancer is so crappily focused on healing. I've been doing some Deadlands public dungeons today and been taking care of the healing. Got massive healing, long-duration healing, protective barriers, etc.

Whew, almost done collecting all the Psijic MacGuffins. I swear to St. Ajora, if one of my Psijic colleagues betrays me after I've found these damn things...I'm gonna burn down Ceporah Tower. "Collect this trash and then the bad guy steals it" is probably my least-favorite trope in all of gamingdom. We'll see if the game avoids it or not.

Welp, Josajeh did some Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price hijinx, but I still won. She got exiled and took the Augur with, while I reaped a bunch of benefits, like a necklace I can break down for traits. Not that impressed with the Psijic skills, though, so I guess that about wraps things up in Artaeum.

I think i read somewhere that some psijic skills were very meta and cool for some hardcore cool meta builds or something but i never bothered with them so i dont know.

Gotta say the 'collect stuff then out of nowhere plot twist steals them from you and the bad guys are now ready to end the world because of it' was good once or twice but nowadays its so drained empty as a cliche that i just get frustrated when it happens now. Good thing is that it rarely happens so often it ruins an entire game or story.

Are the alliance points the green square looking things? If so you can buy purple weapons with those and thats a super easy way to get one if you arent trying to build some set at cp 160 which is when you want to start getting sets that youre gonna actually use for a long time.

I was a bit of a joker with my sets and went for the clockwork city set that lets me throw robotic lizards at people that stun them and it never works in pvp but it more often that not works just fine in pve and it looks funny so its worth in my eyes. When you start getting CP you might wanna look some stuff online on what sets you wanna build and how to get them but you should only bother at cp 160 because thats the cap for how high your gear can go so every cp 160 item you get could theoretically be The item you hold onto for the rest of your time playing or atleast until better sets are introduced in the future.

I'm at CP169, I think, so yeah, I've hit the item cap from all that dolmen farming. I've been using a Withered Hand item set cobbled together, but might switch to something else, now that I've found some cool stuff in other places. Maybe something that boosts max magicka another 8000 points, like I had in Elswyr.

Speaking of sets, how much storage can you have in your houses? I have that free Elswyr mansion with a lot of space, and I've just been dumping gates and paintings I find there. But, if I wanted to have actual storage boxes there -- maybe for having complete item sets at CP160 -- what's the upper limit? I'd love to get around the bank stuff if at all possible.

ill be honest i have no idea how much storage you can have i just have one box that i dont use in my alinor house and a bunch of random things in my bank but id imagine the bank will have enough space for different sets and other stuff so shouldnt be a problem.
Ive also had a subscription most of the times ive actively played so storing crafting items hasnt been a problem for me either.

Ive read somewhere that a set you can get in the orsinium dlc whatever its name was is actually really good for giving just a pile of stats for magicka builds but you would have to craft it or buy it from someone who has crafted it and the prices i believe are kinda high so it might be some whole lot of work to do. Honestly id suggest you google what sets are good for your build and go from there i wouldve done it myself if i aimed to complete some proper challenging content beyond just veteran dungeons with randoms and the usual goofing around any of my friends are interested in.

Yeah, I heard about the Orsinium craft set back when I first googled good sets. I don't have the DLC, though, so I dunno if those items are even available through trade. I put all my skill points into magicka, though, so reaching 40K+ with a normal set is definitely doable. I think the Mage blessing stone gives a percentage increase in max magicka, which has been helpful.

Dwarven stuff is great, so I wouldn't even mind grinding some bosses to kill time in order to get those other Cartographer pieces. Shame they made this badass ruin a little tutorial-ish dungeon on Stros M'kai. =(

Here's me and some randoms doing Volenfell. I like how they always use the same few voices for these NPCs, haha. I farmed this place so much, I got at least five Treasure Hunter items and stuck those on instead of my robes. Not gonna lie...the look is underwhelming, especially this helmet, which looks like garbage on my Khajiit.



I think this Craglorn. Looked it up and there's a lot of robo-wolf pieces there, but it shouldn't be a big deal.

Alright, found two more pieces of my wolf. Some parts of public dungeons aren't as hard anymore, although there was a boss yesterday I couldn't defeat on my own. It was some giant robot centurian that had an immunity shield and summoned 23423 minions. As someone who doesn't use potions, I could only get it down to 66% HP or so before it ganked me with some BS lightning attack.

Damn, there are some wolf gadgets I can't get unless I progress certain quests. I think I need to do eight (!??) to unlock Coldharbour, plus I think there's one to do in this lame-ass Fighters Guild questline. I'm curious if the Argonian guildmaster is the real murderer or there's an eleventh-hour twist, like the Khajiit faking the ghostly confession.

Whew, got another piece from killing random dwarven freaks in Mzulft, which looks way lamer than how it was in Skyrim. Gonna try running another group dungeon to get another gold-tier part.

Yeahhhh, I got the gold scry drop on Darkshade Caverns II on the first try. My team wiped first, though, because a door closed and trapped me outside. (I'm the healer.)

Hmm, might eventually switch from the Necropotence set to the Winter's Respite set, since it turns all circle-based abilities into healing circles. Could use that for these lame-ass guild abilities that don't heal but do other semi-interesting things. Could even use that fear-inducing totem again!

Goddamn, the Winter's Respite set is amazing. Just went through Labyrinthian -- which was way less annoying than in OG Skyrim, for some reason -- and it was doing WORK. Like, you can walk up to a group of enemies, use the Grave Grasp for mass (4-6s?) immobilization and stun, then just unload with fireballs to thin the herds. Getting free healing out of that, the fear totem, and the Graveyard/breach ability, plus extra healing on top of the Restoration circle ability, is flat-out great. I still died a few times since my necromancer is squishy and prone to being OHKO or two-shotted, but man, it's the first time in a long time I thought I could just dominate. And I did for a lot of the smaller bosses, thankfully.

Too bad so many bosses have minions that maim (is that the one?) you and slow your movements, only to keep maiming you. You see a lot of that in the Western Skyrim dolmens, especially when the tanks die and all the bosses gun for you. Got some purple-rarity Winter's Respite pieces from Labyrinthian, though, so I'm sittin' pretty.

Yeahhhhh, I did all those lame-ass delves with a random group, found those leads, and even bummed a ride to Coldharbour. I still have one last lead to find (drops from a world boss) but it's in the eastern region and I can't get there yet. Gonna do Coldharbour's questline, I guess, and see if it's any good.

The funny part is, I haven't upgraded my steed speed at all (except for the one 1 point I got from a crate), so this robo-canine gallops like a 200-ton bulldozer. I'm halfway done with steed carrying capacity boosts, so speed'll be next. The fact you can ride your robot and still be maimed (slowed) by enemies you're escaping from is hot garbage, though.

Man, it's taking forever to find Cartographer fragments in Nchuthnkarst -- only found two so far, I think. As consolation, at least I can tell myself I'm not farming fifty friggin' rocks at Labyrinthian...although, to be fair, I got a lot of good Winter's Respite equipment from doing that, so I'm not too sore. :P

It's nice that champion points are universal, since it makes my new characters a little more powerful. Just made my third character, Thrukbar the Corpulent, the world's fattest (orc) sorceror. Might not play it too much, but it should be kinda fun.
