Man, really tough finish for the tbolts, they could've vaulted to the top with a strong finish with how the rest of that event played out. Now they are still within striking distance but a LOT needs to go right for them to win.

Me and a friend have been following this since way back.

Chaos is my main team, Momo is my back-up.
He is a Cats eyes fan through and through.

I dont have a favorite team of my own, but my wife is a Cats Eyes fan, my son cheers for the Orangers, and my daughters nickname in daycare as a baby was Momo so thats her pick.

I know my friend watches the events with his housemate. And his housemate didn't really get into it until he picked a team to follow. He supports the ducks so it's been a ride for him.

I feel kinda bad for the Raspberry Racers and the Hazers - they had to start in last and just never got anything going.

Congrats to Mellow Yellow on pulling off the overall win! They've come close before and it's nice to see them bounce back from 2020. Glad the Minty Maniacs were able to get a medal at the end too.

Things were looking up for my tbolts they made it up to 8th but then fell back and could never get back. I suppose finishing in 8th overall is actually about where they belong considering how consistently average-to-good they were but only getting 1 medal. Even just 2 more medals would have put us near the top and maybe even podium.

Yeah, honestly marblecross is one of my least favorite events because it's just so impossible to catch up if you lose the group. So much of it is getting timely bumps from people behind you, so despite the Razzies "choking" I guess I can't really call it that since it was going to be an uphill battle anyway.

I would like to see a different starting setup for these types of events, perhaps one closer to the marble rally where they are spread wide in 2 rows.

I think we're at the point where we can stop lol.

Jelle made a post that they're going to try and focus some more on marble runs with tons of marbles which I guess is what their roots are, ASMR type vids. I actually think this is a good idea! Apparently viewership of the channel has been down and I think that's natural because this thing really peaked during the pandemic. Now that more and more people are pushing to get back to normal (for better or worse), the novelty has worn off for some people I'm sure. But straight marble runs with 1k marbles doing cool things on tracks is a lot easier and simpler to jump into than getting into a marble league halfway through the event, yknow? I think run-type vids could serve well to get people watching the channel to start, and then the event-type vids would help to retain them once they're invested.

I think it would be fun to do some sort of Tour de France style thing with all the marble teams, but that's probably not the scale they want to do things at for the time being. It'd just be neat to have a competition where you didn't have teams left out.

Variety sounds great as long as they dont stop doing the event stuff. If they wanna do huge runs in addition to League/Marbula/whatever Id be down.
