Stepped on your lawn? As in taking a child hood short cut through the neighbor hood which happens to land on your property. Are you for or against this kind of insubordination?

No. One of my life's goals is to avoid becoming a cranky old person that bitches about kids.

If it was just a grass lawn, I'd not care, but current me would be disappointed in future me for that waste of resources.

If I used the "lawn" instead as a garden, I'd hope they wouldn't tromp through the plants.

i'm middle aged and have a lawn, so i think i qualify here.

the neighbor kid comes onto my lawn to fetch his basketball on a daily basis and i dont mind that. but if there were some hypothetical shortcut that went through my property i wouldn't want kids trampling all over my yard.

Tromping through plants is a big no-no, a phone call to a parent would get that child grounded pretty quick, I'd think. But to be sure, I invaded many of gardens when I was a boy to pick an easy meal and nobody seemed to mind, although I picked from the trees mostly and not the garden itself.

Sometimes, opening fire on kids with an assault rifle from an upstairs window is the only language they understand.

Not that I recall, but Arkansas was kind of like that growing up. You could pretty much walk anywhere as long as the gate wasn't too fancy. barbed wire fences wouldn't keep me from checking out the area.

Nah, I wouldn't yell at kids for being on my lawn. I'd just be one of those old guys that massively exaggerates how things were back in my day
