the most important thing in life is being happy, and women being able to easily date people makes that a lot easier. I might be successful in my career but Im still a depressed foreveralone

I saw my sister on Tinder. Complete opposite of guys.

My sister said no to so many guys its not even funny. out of a hundred guys, she said yes to maybe 5 of them.

Men on the other hand, out of 100 girls, we say yes to about......80 of them lol, maybe no to fat chicks thats it.

trust me mate, being able to date easily is really a small part of the whole relationships puzzle, plenty of hot women are depressed even if they could get laid daily

I dont even care about being laid. Id love to have the chance to find a SO, but I keep myself locked up whenever Im not at work. If all youre doing is looking for a quick lay, thats no good. But being able to go out and find someone at all to date is probably one of the biggest hurdles there is and women get a free pass.

Maybe for like, 2-3 aspects of life(dating, and not expected to do as much manual labor or being seen as expendable). For most everything else it's either equal or worse for women.

In general being male is probably easier, if not for the period/pms thing it might be comparable. Even then though I think it might be worse.

It's easier to get kindness, interest, and approval, but probably harder to get respect and authority.

Well outside just dating, they do technically have lower expectations than guys who are often ostracized for not earning enough for the family for example. Sure women have their own share of expectations, but I think all things considered, being expected to succeed in life is a lot rougher.

Obviously things are changing though, but at least even right now, the weight is still on guys more than the girls

im sorry, but its the truth. and I feel the same way as you. i guess I can say that, motivation is fake. it doesnt really exist. you just gotta do shit. but anti-depressants (im on two of them) will help, and so will therapy

Im already late 20s and never really started with the game. Whenever I think about going to a bar or something to try, I cant imagine how I would even do that and I dont even bother. Id be too scared of embarrassing myself and making another memory that keeps me awake at night in cringe.

whenever I try, I stop after a few weeks. My latest attempt was to start getting more active by going for walks after work. Stopped over a year ago

this thread was trash anyways so dont worry. just try again and force yourself! even for just like 10 minutes. small steps

also like i said, medication exists for a reason. and it does work. im an example. i realized one day when I had to physically force myself to not drive into oncoming traffic. i was in a horrible spot. getting the right meds and talking to the right people helped. i wouldn't say im perfect, but im pretty okay with being alive.

I like how the topic is "Being a girl is easy?" and then only shows proof that getting laid as a girl is easy.

Yes, getting laid as a woman is easy, but there's a lot more to life than getting laid and a lot of things that can happen in a woman's life that can make it get very difficult very fast.

Such as:
-sex trafficked
-physically abused
-sexually abused
-trying to get commitment out of the guys who you can sleep with, which is apparently 100x harder than merely sleeping with them
-raising a kid by yourself and trying to get commitment from any halfway decent guy as a single mom
-giving birth in general as well as menstruating
-being in any dangerous situation where being faster or having stronger upper body strength is vital

I'd still argue being a man is harder ON AVERAGE, but I don't think being a woman is intrinsically EASY persay, just different struggles.

Maybe so, but why? I don't think it's because the odds are inherently stacked against men. I think it's because men are more likely to be insufferable adult/children hybrids who don't know how good they have it. But of course, arguing either side of that is just speculation.

The fact is, dating is a marketplace. If nobody wants what you're selling, develop your product to make it more appealing and then put it back on the market.

It'd be easy to blame every disadvantage a gender has on their own individual members' flaws, but if we all did that, feminism past the establishment of equal rights would be readily dismissed.

I think examining the gender roles of society is important. In this case for example, men are more likely to approach women than the reverse. So that puts shy men at a significant disadvantage relative to shy women. Doesn't make the shy men bad people.

It depends. A guy who is just an asshole is probably alone because he's an asshole. But a guy who is passive has the argument that passive women are more likely to be noticed and approached than him. In that case it is a gender thing, gender roles do enforce men's roles as initiators and escalators, so guys bad at that are often gonna have a bad time. Whereas a woman who can't do it can often wait to be noticed instead.
