I believe right after the Jun banner, they introduced sparking. Also our next event will have guaranteed Jun shards (Though I imagine defeating the VH event boss will required a fairly pimped out team).

The game is generous but the rates are legit trash most of the time. RNGesus must be looking after y'all.

The only two other gachas I play are FEH and Genshin. It's unrealistic to expect having all characters in FEH as a f2p or low spender, and I've never gotten lucky in Genshin, I've just accepted every 5* comes home at around 80 pulls. Plus it's super stingy with its premium resources.

IMO Guardian Tales or Azur Lane are among the most F2P-friendly.

Not sure about GT but Azur Lane I'll agree with. It was usually pretty easy to pull new 3* units when I played. Dragalia Lost was always crazy easy to pull new units in, for me at least. Both Cygames but the difference in rates are night and day.

Yup expiration-less sparking and characters always being available is awesome. Not like Granblue where they have guys who are available for like 3 days at a time <_<

The gameplay looks like it might be more similar to something like Priconne, which is pretty cool. I'm not too into the action oriented gachas either.

The Guardian Tales guild hit 30 people again so I went to go purge and the two people I purged were offline 24 and 19 days.

The Guild is insanely active now. At the current rate we're going to hit 30 and everyone is going to be a daily player.

Yeah. Random/mystery evolution, item dungeon, and monthly magic metal boxes.

Your level is the main contributor though. You won't get very far without it being maxed.

Thanks for the reminder that I needed to do the same for our PriConne clan. I just kicked 5 people who had been inactive for a week or more. All 25 of the others still in are fully active and have logged in within the past 24 hours.

I remembered there's been other gacha games based on fighting games where some were action-oriented while others were more chill, so Street Fighter could have gone either way.

Yeah there probably isnt any point. If I remember correctly I found it frustrating to control. I think I had trouble with stuff like aiming and dodging and decided that if I couldnt dodge in early stuff, I had no hope of being able to do later combat.

Well GT dodging and such is something you get better with practice. Definitely been that way for me. I would recommend emulator in the long run though. I got really good with phone controls, but ultimately the game asks for the kind of precision that thumbs can't consistently pull off with 8 directionals. It was really awkward to try for emulator wasd controls but I managed to get used to it in a few days and definitely can't do without the more precise movement at the loss of some fluidity

The AI has gone through some significant improvements since launch if that was your main hangup but the game also has really good controller support. You can hook up an Xbox controller via Bluetooth and the game supports it almost completely. You still have to tap during some places like heavenhold or the world map but the actual gameplay is fully supported.

Every 5-6*s get a 2nd element. But some 4*s make up for their lack of 2nd elem with like some pretty gnarly utility or unforeseen DPS potential, like Tessa, who basically stalls til the very last turn and does a giant giant burst.

I primarily play on an emulator so my attempt at Guardian Tales would have been on it using a controller, so I'd probably still have the same problems. Oh well, I'll just ignore the urge I guess.

Fucking lol on my quest for gir I used up all my oil. I was interrupted by a screen that said I had too little to continue and noticed that I was down to 11 D:

In hindsight though, I really shouldn't have been leveling up New Jersey at the same time that I was getting Iron Blood vanguard experience since she would always steal the MVP from Heinrich.

So Magicami added this Beastification or whatever system that acts as an evolution of sorts.

You need a max limit broken dress, maxed skills, and a bunch of mats for it, but they let you skip the mats part for the first time. Except the deadline to use that is next week.

Of the dresses in that list, Ultimate Akisa is the closest I can get, but I dont have enough to max limit break her, so fuck me, I guess.

Seems my best bet is to use it on an event dress, which leaves many options as Oni Kokoa or Swimsuit Kokoa.
