Ok, so Final Fantasy resprited 1~6 is on the steam store page now (available in 3 weeks)

Here's the thing, Final Fantasy 1~3 look pretty good in the screenshots. A little janky, but they went with a mixture of Wonderswan, GBA and PSP to get what they could as best as they good. High hope.

...

However, Final Fantasy 4~6, IE: The ones they massacred, they have NO screenshots for... very suspicious

Hey Lok, what kind of camera do you use? I'm looking to get a new camera, looking for recommendations.

I know I'm better off getting something I can swap lenses on. Was looking at this one.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FKLQ0FS/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_fabc_QZ40ZX4NC7R31TA8SE6B

My budget is whatever but I'd like to stay around $750 ($936CAD) or so, if there's a decent choice for less I'm all for it

My budget is whatever but I'd like to stay around $750 ($936CAD) or so, if there's a decent choice for less I'm all for it

My camera is a Nikon D500 and my 3 lenses are a 90mm macro (for the bugs) and a 500mm nikkor and a multirange 30~300 nikkor.

the multirange is the lowest quality lens, but it is the first one I got... but its still very useful since it's clean at all applicable ranges so its good for taking, say, bug pics of bugs I can't approach. The Macro and the multirange cost about $200... but my sweet bae 500 was like $1200.

That may sound expensive, but that's actually a performance limit. To get to, like, 600mm it costs like 10x as much. If you are a casual consumer, 500mm is the limit

...

That aside, a piece of advice someone on r/camera told me is "marry your lenses, date your camera", which I interpret as put more money and effort in quality lenses, and don't care AS much about your base camera.

At aside, you'll want something with at least a DX or better yet an FX censor... the high speed point'n'shoot cameras have censors about on par with iPhones so for those then kit based iPhone photography would be better (yes, it's a thing, people put advanced lenses on their iPhones).

DSLR is what I have, but there are advantages to mirrorless depending on what you need... since I do wildlife DSLR is better for me due to the higher speed focus

And finally, you'd want something with an AutoFocus Motor... so anything newer than the D3500 or D5600, these let you really get clear shots without fiddling with knobs all day

...

...

But that brings us to the pricing problem, your budget it kinda in a weird spot. The cameras with cool basic features can be around $500~600 which would easily match your budget, but as soon as you jump to a camera with an AutoFocus Motor and an FX sensor it jumps immediately to $1500.

So it depends entirely on what you are wanting to take pics of.

...

For the camera you posted... I'm not a camera expert, but it looks like Pentax is good at high-contrast shots (colourful things). And one of the key features if the Pentax K3.... actually has a built-in flash

Yo I was literally using cameradecision earlier it's such a great site. I'll check out that Nikon for sure thanks for the response you gave me a lot of info

Yeah I plan on starting with a basic lens then maybe getting something with some decent zoom in the future, once I'm more familiar with my camera. I have Canon Rebel right now and I don't like it (it's also over a decade old so it's about time for an upgrade lol)
