Did they bring back the ability to turn off vsync? If not, it's not fine. I can't handle the input lag vsync adds. And yeah, I know you can have vsync off when a game is in exclusive fullscreen mode. But I don't always want games in fullscreen and some games only have a borderless window fullscreen mode, which mean there's forced vsync.

Then what actually is input lag? Because I've turned on Windows Aero and it takes longer for the cursor to start moving when I move the mouse than it does when I have the theme set to Windows 7 Basic. The same thing happens when I have a game in exclusive fullscreen and I turn on vsync. The input lag is just as bad on my Windows 10 laptop.

Can you move it to the left, right or top side of the screen?

My computer couldn't run it if it wanted to.

Well can in the theoretical sense, probably, but will it run on my machine...

7 Pro is where I'm still at, and the hardware is older then that, but it would probably run it if forced to, I'm just not going to be the one to do that to this poor old thing.

Probably can't run windows 11 unless your computer is 3 years old or less. They are locking Windows 11 to only motherboards with TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chips.

Except the major buyer of OEM PCs and notebooks are businesses which are almost entirely Windows houses. Corporate IT is scared of anything not Windows.

What's funny about games not having input lag? I like inputs to happen right when I press the button, not a quarter of a second later.

Can you slide the taskbar to different places? I still like putting it on the right side occasionally for games.

I use a lot of windows 7 still - mostly because some industry software does not play well with windows 8 or 10.

I still have 2 XP machines at work. They both run great (not connected to the internet)

Industry moves slow. I know of one company that still runs several machines with MS DOS still.

It's low key funny that even their demo Windows 11 taskbar doesn't have that weather bar they forced on everyone earlier this month and everyone hated.

I am fairly certain there is a registry that was maintained by single individual that has probably died in the past year, that will be responsible for a major network outage in the future and no one will understand what broke or where to fix it, or when they do find what broke it's in a proprietary language of their own design, and nobody understands how it works.

Is it 2008 and Windows Vista is their newest OS? Cuz if it's not, that's bullshit. Windows 7 is better than XP in every way. If they release a good OS again, I'll use it. But if they keep releasing shit like 8, 10, and 11, I'll continue using Windows 7. It gets the job done for me the vast majority of the time. Only a couple games that claim to require Windows 8 or 10 actually require it. Most of them run just fine on Windows 7.

Yeah, most people are fine with dogshit. Most people are fine with music having the dynamic range of Californication and think I'm crazy because I like music to be more like the pre-remaster version of Brothers in Arms.
