Never felt like I needed it there. I think I've only used it for bosses 2 times ever on my 1st playthroughs. And rarely more than that outside of playing through BB with a friend and a few DS3 bosses with a friend. So,Summoning I don't really miss. I do like watching player deaths tho. The signs I can take or leave. Yeah I was probably just looking around the level for items initially and not paying attention to the eye. I usually can play without getting invaded. So I didn't even really know the mechanics at that point outside of it alerting you on screen and then them being somewhere in that area. It's always been a solo game to me. Invaders irritate me way too much.
